@Middleswine: and weren't cardigans his clothing of choice last season?

Where's Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor?

Jim Rockford would be simultaneously proud and repulsed. Well done guys!

@gman1023: Correct. For example, it is currently 63 degrees with 84% humidity here in San Diego, and I have to have the fan on. This is unusually humid.

@Armand: It may be cliche, but it's not the heat, it's the humidity. In general, CA is not that humid.

Pfft, who in their right mind would take a frumpy looking sedan around the track?

@Scoutch: Wow, didja hurt yourself stretching on that one? haha

Did Jalopnik ever announce who they chose as their intern? A friend of mine in NYC applied and I thought he would be a shoe in.

@Doinker: You don't want to know.

No moleste el Stig!

@spiegel1: Welcome to the jungle!

@BrtStlnd: Then it would be "Whose awesome?"

@Alfisted: Yup, I have towed both a Mazda Miata and a Dodge Omni. Funny how I didn't own either at the time :)

@patman: I rented a dolly from U-haul a couple of years ago (before I bought a tow bar and figured out how to flat tow my car) and they did not require me to load up my car there. In fact I had to tow the empty dolly about 30 miles to retrieve the car (man they make a lot of noise when towed empty). I rented it from

@LTDScott: Yes yes I am well aware that U-haul rents car trailers. I was responding directly to the quote in the original article.

@comedian: Yes I did, but it was legit. I told Jay Lamm our story and he gave us an allowance for it!

Not to defend these idiots at all, but if the car is not registered, a tow dolly may not be the solution. In CA (and other states based on my prior research), if you tow a car with any of its wheels on the ground, it has to be registered and in some cases insured.
