I know it’s very unlikely, but I’d love them to release a Dreamcast Mini with Test Drive Le Mans and Metropolis Street Racer included. I totally missed out on the Dreamcast back in the day, so I’d buy one if those two games were included. Unfortunately, auto licensing being what it is, it’s almost impossible for this

Another local here as well. Her Dad owns the local go kart track that I drive at frequently. She’s almost sickeningly nice in person(in a good way!), and despite being a promising engineer and racing driver, she manages to give her time to teach little girls how to race karts. Just an unbelievably motivated person,

If you think it drives like a boat, you've obviously never driven one. I've driven one numerous times on a road course, and it may not be particularly effective, but its beautifully balanced and very easy to control at or over the limit. Possibly the most fun car I've ever driven on track.

Well good thing the shifter isn't attached to the clutch then, hmm?

Front-engined Corvettes are already rear transaxle and have shift rods as a result, so not much change there.

I’ve watched Doug’s videos and read his articles for years, so I’m fully aware. His opinions and scores are still equally unimportant regardless of vehicle type.

No, you’re 100% right. I watch his videos to see the little quirks that one can’t really learn about through any other medium, besides driving or living with a car oneself. But his opinions about handling or overall driving experience just seem completely worthless. It looks like he hits a couple on-ramps and goes

As it should be.

You want a not-so-fun new pet peeve? Listen for the word “planted” as used to describe a car’s handling. Now go watch a driving review from ANY Youtuber, about ANY performance car, and see if you can find any that don’t contain the word planted. I watch a lot of car channels and this has become my #1 annoyance.

It is crazy when you put it that way. I have to re-qualify regularly to operate a fork lift at work, so why not cars?

Can you read? I just said I don’t hate the cars or the tech. They may not be my taste, but I have nothing against electric cars and I know they’re the future. I just hate the owners and fans who act like they’re the greatest cars in the history of the world and buying or being interested in anything else is a complete

So Renault is using Honda power this year? Interesting.

I kinda want Tesla to fail miserably at this point. I have nothing against the cars or the tech or even Elon Musk, but the owners are the most insufferable group of twats in the automotive world, and it’s not close. Getting reeeeeal sick of seeing comments like “why would you buy this when a Tesla does 0-60 in

Even Charlie didn’t know when those 5 lights would go out for good. RIP, good sir.

Is someone handing out trophies on street corners for being fast? No? Then who cares if you’re slower than someone else? Sports cars are about fun, and IMO, NA engines are much more fun than turbo engines. So I’ll give up performance.

So, the way it should be then?

Did I miss the part where he said the 8R is still going to use the 2.0t?

I’m not comparing anything, dummy. It just sparked some memories about driving small turbos vs big turbos and I felt like posting.

Maybe you need a smaller wife. ;)

Oh absolutely. My own Miata is getting supercharged and I vastly prefer NA or a supercharger setup to any turbo. I’m just saying if it has to be turbocharged, I’ve enjoyed driving bigger turbo cars more, at least where traction is a concern.
