The BMW 507 would like a word on that one.

For me, it depends a lot on the execution. The S2000 is a perfect example.

The question is whether or not the viewers tune in enough for NBC to justify the opportunity cost of not running something else in that time slot.

This is a really good point. I think we’ve all seen people get berated for not knowing something in the car world, when people could have easily just been helpful.

That looks fantastic! But RIP Meigs Field. I’ll never forgive Daley for that bullshit.

Damn, that’s disgusting. I knew about some of that, but not all of it.

You want to daily drive your rally car?

Eh, we all make mistakes.

I’ve never put a bumper sticker on any car I’ve owned, until just recently. I’ll keep it on there for a little while, but it still makes me smile, so I’ll leave it on for a little while.

Came here for Icy Hot Stuntazz.

Also driven many McLaren cars. Also agree.

Yikes - I totally understand. I struggled to learn stick from one person because I was too nervous to really get it. Then I learned from someone else and I got it. But it’s like learning a language, you really have to daily drive one to get good.

This is the correct take. I don’t understand why a car enthusiast wouldn’t learn manual just out of curiosity.

I’ve daily driven an AP2 for years. Do I wish it had more torque? Sure. But I don’t think it’s too lacking in torque to drive. Below 6-7,000 RPM it drives like a Miata.

Also, once you learned that the drag racing was going to be done in a low-grip situation (IE: not a prepped drag strip), it became clear who would win.

Yes! It’s their approach that was refreshing - They actually let the people be themselves. But the format got stagnant in a hurry.

Hard to believe that the Honda Civic Si, Prelude SH and S2000 all existed in the showroom at the same time.

Once you drive in a place with a decent number of roundabouts, stopping at a red light for two cars to travel in the other direction can be really frustrating.
