Honestly, it took me a while to understand this, but this isn’t about someone being offended - There are people who see a license plate with the word JAP on it, and are as hurt by that as someone might be when they see the US flag being burned. You might not feel that way about this plate, but I’m sure you can realize

The way I understand it, it’s actually less of an issue than you might think. I read something once about how earthquakes are kind of like ocean waves. You notice them a lot on the surface, but underground the effect is less profound.

I think a slightly more dramatic roof spoiler might clean it up a lot...

If he was running the generator, he was.

This is a good thing for General Motors, the company. This is a shit thing for a General Motors employee, and for the people in these towns where good-paying jobs can be hard to come by.

Articles about the news don’t need to make an argument. Sometimes they just report stuff that happened.

I was so jealous of the second gen SE owners... Doubly so for having a manual.

This was my first car!

I’m so ready for a Carlos Ghosn book. This story is going to be full of intrigue...

I always go with Hyundai or Kia for those people. 10-year, 100,000-mile warranties are no joke.

Is there any reason why he’s doing this?

I wonder if it is a problem that’s specific to people who live in the UK, and large cities where they don’t have a garage.

You’ve never met a McLaren engineer, have you? Literally all they do is put their nose down and work. But everything that makes a racing car go faster tomorrow than it did today costs a lot of money. Engineers cost money, tools, prototypes, data, wind tunnel time...

What do you think the problems are, then? I only have a somewhat limited view into the team, so I’m always interested to hear other perspectives.

True, but we shouldn’t also forget that it was that same mindset that literally saved F1.

If you don’t ‘care about politics’, then try this:

The way I read the article is that Subaru’s division in South Africa developed the car themselves.

Probably where the fuel tank is.

There’s the Allen Berg Racing School.

I would go ahead and appeal the decision then.
