Ahhh FCA... Attempting to address gross corporate incompetence by bringing on bombastic Italian overexuberance since 2014.

What they seem to be addressing is that the younger generation isn’t picking up a luxury car that was the rite of passage for generations past. A Mercedes is a mature choice. It’s the car you buy when you ‘made it.’ 

That’s a good point. Cars are one of those things that can unintelligible to the uninitiated, (IE: “Can’t wait to swap a B18C into my EG6!” “Why not a K24?” etc.)

Don’t worry. Wasn’t Ricciardo. I don’t know why, but I feel like Ricciardo would be what Jezebel would call a ‘woke bae.’ 

This kind of behavior is so common. My GF and I recently met a well known racing driver and his first comment to her was that I had to explain F1 to her.

Why do you think it would be nearly as cheap as a car that is mass-produced to the point where it is used in rental car lots? This is a $60 thousand car.
