It was likely that the terms were already negotiated and credit was verified when the order was placed. But in CA a buyer can back out of a sale at the last possible minute. So dealers occasionally get stuck with odd cars like this.

I have and have had many friends who work for Elon Musk companies. People are expendable. People are worked to their limits and when they are all used up, they are often discarded and replaced with fresh recruits.

To be fair, Tesla already kind of does this. When new hardware is available and they have figured out a way to run it into production cars, they don’t wait for the next model year, they just start making the better vehicles.

i have to disagree. It was a solid race that kept me guessing until the end. More of a chess match than a race. But I thought it was really interesting. Yes, the end result was normal, but it was very close. One more lap and it would have been Ricciardo.
