This was probably just the kick in the dick and the balls that guy needed.

I would be interested to see this with non-enthusiast commuter cars. You couldn’t do one specific model, but maybe pick the top family choice for every five years from 1955 to today.
*Outrage!*
On average, one driver is killed for every 94 million miles driven. Tesla’s Autopilot has driven 130 million miles and just had its first fatality. And this technology is still in its infancy. It’s not a stretch to imagine that this tech will be two to four times safer in the next few years.
I owned one, a 2007 in New Formula Red. I had the car for around five years and over 80,000 miles. I sold it to buy a girl an engagement ring. I never bought the ring. The relationship ended poorly. That was about two years ago.
I swear to God this is a true story:
I had a very similar experience in a Formula Renault at Allen Berg Racing School. I wrote my opinions on it on my tumblr. Hope you don’t mind...
The Maserati Ghibli/Quattroporte shifters are similarly bad. I once almost had a very serious moment with a QP. Though it was very much all my fault.
Nobody backs down. Everyone escalates. This is our culture now. I’ve been thinking about this since I read a GQ article about it a while back.
I once got a base model Mitsubishi Endeavor as a rental car. It was so soulless, my brother-in-law and I had a running joke about it the whole time. “Come test drive the car Road and Track magazine praised the Endeavor as ‘a vehicle.” “Autoblog raved ‘The Endeavor moved under its own power, both forwards and in…
Because the Lord of Light can do amazing things with the blood of a king?
If there is any justice, this will win COTD so someone somewhere gets a Google Alert and maybe it gets forwarded back to BMW.
Please do this during Pebble Beach. It’s like if the world is like Forza Horizon for a week.
A lot of companies do this type of thing.
Hmm - The more you know...
I always figured it was because of homeless people living in cars. They like to park on nice streets and if there isn’t something that says that there is a time frame where you can’t park there, they just live there...
I’m fairly certain I’ve driven that EXACT car - It has a carbon fiber exterior and red interior. The shifter is a JOY to use. To the point where I would often take my hands away from the steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters to use the lever instead. The gearbox itself though... Such a let down. (I say that fully…
You asked for an engine that burns air in fuel in a violent way. Behold the explosive startup of the McLaren M8 at around 39 seconds.
Too late for a COTD nom? This is gold!
Anyone else thinking of Best Motoring in this shot.
