OH man, cue the endless s-word jokes.
OH man, cue the endless s-word jokes.
I'm a little bit surprised that people are so confused how a "reverse blade" might be more deadly than a normal blade.
Have we all forgotten about shotels and khopesh? They're renowned for their deadlisness due to the reverse-bend of their blade. Something about the physics of the blade, I can't remember what exactly.

Based on researching a number of gamer's heart rates while playing a shooter, and using a raw prototype hooked up to an Xbox 360, the Immersion would gently adjust the difficulty and content of a game based on how the player was feeling.
I had a different experience when I tried it out. Mind you, I had a friend who was part of a corporation thingy, but even so. I wasn't a member of his group, so I had very few friends and contacts.
Typically, I was treated well enough. That isn't to say there weren't any jerks; there were. But it's the internet. I get…
Well, not everyone games for the same reasons or looks for the same challenges, you know?
I couldn't get into EVE. I'm more interested in "hit the ground running" kinds of games. And sometimes I love games with little-to-no challenge.
I didn't make a comment on the "getting killed" part, but; even with all the…
Are you seeing the same arms I am?
newb* a "noob" is an idiot...
I think Arty is mostly referring to the 10+ hours part. The game has a tremendous learning curve and most players (myself included) aren't willing to put in the huge amounts of time to get anywhere.
Especially compared to other games which are relatively easy to get into.
Chrono x infinity. I enjoyed Trigger, but I WORSHIP Cross.
I want more.

Disagree.
To quickly address your concerns: the best thing a company and potential employee can do is make sure they share the same belief and value system.
In short, if that isn't your thing, don't work there.
Ah-ha. Well that's unfortunate. At least you can break SOMETHING (the internet? :p)
I'll send you some of the crappy little prototypes I make over the next few years and you can tell me how shoddy my programming is haha
While I have the fans' attention: what are some solid FFT-likes on PC, 3/DS, and/or mobile?
Lately the only games I've found are:
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 1 & 2 (DS or 3DS if you get 1: Overclocked)
Project X Zone (3DS)
Shadowrun (PC/Mobile)
And Spectral Souls (Mobile)
Any recommendations here?
Who ever convinced you this was a simulator juked you hard.
You both are great. <3
I, too, favor the Buy-to-Play model. I'm even OK with DLC/add-ons/cash shops if done fairly. Guild Wars 2 may not be the best comparison for that, but the first in the series was.
We had a pretty sweet PC. It wasn't top of the line, but I had the best one in school (of the people who talked about their computers, at least).
We didn't really know much about them or what their potential was. So emulation never came to mind.
I don't think ANY of that excuses the behavior. Life only sucks because of the horrible ways humans treat each other.
Whether it's a fact of life or not is no reason we should just accept it as being "OK." Screw that. I always encourage people to be the best version of themselves they can be.
Also, you should do Quality…
Wow, man... That's...... My heart broke a little for you. :( I'm sorry you had to go through that.
