I went to YHC and know first hand all about what goes, and went on.

I've got to ask: are these students being forced to participate in this so-called Greek life bullshit? When confronted with the prospect of hazing, why don't these students just turn it down? I agree colleges need to participate in keeping students safe, but they can't prevent students from consciously making stupid…
Oh, wow, yes. I hadn't ever thought of it that way, but you're absolutely right.
When was Michael Cera cast in a role constructed in whole or even part by a woman in which he played a quirky guy who existed solely to fulfill the fantasies/facilitate the journey of a female character?
Yes, that was entirely my point. Good job interpreting it, random hostile nobody on the internet! Gold star for you!
I can't wait until the day where old white people afraid of change are not in power anymore. The internet has made it harder for them to dictate the dialogue and people are fleeing them. The rise of MRAs, the intensifying of religious fundamentalism, and the Tea Party are all responses of people who feel the change…
Then why don't they try aligning with feminists? Cuz the message they're sending out is exactly what this video is saying: they think that feminazis are taking what's rightfully theirs. Not exactly winning at sounding credible.
If you give a feminazi an ice cream, she will ask for a glass of milk. If you give her a glass of milk...
They seem sad. And angry. And troubled.
I think you're going to have to let this one go. English steals terms from other languages all the time, and we make phrases out of them that wouldn't make sense with a literal transliteration. Best example: Chai Tea.
I love art that makes a devastaing point in less than a minute.
I love the ending. The voice sets a creepy, truthful tone somehow for me. "I am afraid. I am afraid. I am afraid of women."
It's not. Even if he meant April 2nd, "shy of" indicates just before. So, no.
That was nice. You're nice.
Holy hell, those are some real bullies! I hope those kids' parents punished them!
Those ambulance rides are 'spensive. When I was training as an EMT I once walked with someone to the hospital so her parents wouldn't be hit with a $400 bill for driving her a block (she was a teenager and some bullies had hit her with a belt buckle a few times).
I was scrolling down to say pretty much this. Wouldn't it be AWESOME if Jezebel, a feminist-leaning, woman-centric webspace, was able to report and discuss science issues accurately and with intelligence, instead of this drivel? Because women understand science and like to discuss issues that are relevant to them in…
Regarding the second box quote about the first study, people with high BMI and high alcohol intake had the highest risk of liver disease. So the study did show an association between weight and liver disease. It just doesn't seem to be as big a risk factor as high alcohol intake on its own.
