Dice moved away from BC2 style destruction because they felt that it messed up the flow of the maps, particularly in long games where at the end there was nothing standing, which meant every map ended up being a flat barren wasteland

But where's the fun in that?

So we've come to the point where developers aren't even trying to provide good launch experiences? It's kind of sad

source? and don't link to that anonymous pastebin...

It's actually worse, since it works on a library basis, not a game basis, meaning if you're playing any game from my library, and i start playing any other game in my library, you get booted.

Not really. As far as we know, in Microsoft's version of the idea, if you were playing Game A from my library, i could play Game B and nothing will happen. In this implementation, if you're playing game A and i start playing game B, you're booted from game A

Not just the residency program. I applied in May for a tourist/bussiness visa to attend a certification course at YouTube's offices in July. My application was held in something called "administrative processing", and was not ready for July. No problem, i thought, i'll just register for the next course in September

Because clearly Microsoft has only ever made game consoles and has never done anything related to music services...

If they keep the content coming, i'm happy. I also thought that the GW2 model was great, but honestly, the microtransactions get really annoying really fast, and while they push new content every two weeks, the content is just a new temporary event

Agreed. I have been merciless about the launch issues, but once you actually get to play the game, it is fantastic.

The game is actually excellent, it's only the servers that are shitty

At this point the only games i play with mouse and leyboard are multiplayer shooters and strategy games. for everything else controllers are better, and i can play from my recliner chair on my big screen

I honestly believe that my time spent herding cats as raid leader back in WoW has made me a better manager. Running a small department is a piece of cake compared to balancing the egos of 25 raiders...

I would add Tales of Phantasia and Breath of Fire 2 to this list

Early access means squat when servers are locked and not allowing logins. Most people got no more than 5-6 hours out of the entire early access period

shhhhh, you are not allowed to talk about the server issues, or you are a whining entitled little bitch. You are just supposed to think the game is the best thing ever while you spend 3 hours spamming the login for a chance to have the privilege to play the game you paid for.

We want servers, not tears. All this fake crying and apologizing is doing squat to actually solve the issues in the game.

Game is still broken. They announced that they will add more servers next week. For Japan, which has had no issues. Meanwhile, in NA/EU we are locked out since sunday and no word on fixes

Good luck trying to log in if it's even close to prime time. Also, if you manage to log in, I recommend that you don't log out, since logging back in can be problematic

Well, it will mostly be a solo game, since they are only letting very limited amounts of people log into the servers.
