I sit corrected. I would like to have known this before I had my VANOS replaced. On the tech side, the forst unit was installed incorrectly and the dealer (MileOne BMW in Silver Spring, Md.) had to order a second unit. I had a 2011 BMW 330D for a solid month, which was nice. The bill was not.

Good luck with that. When your VANOS goes out you will find that no one has the unique VANOS tools. Only dealers. Oh and that little big mac sized unit is pretty expensive its ownself.
