This is also exactly how I was able to avoid the spoiler. None of my friends that I spent the most time with played many videogames, much less RPGs during 96-98.  I imagine such a thing is much harder now with social media/internet.  I knew about the “Red Wedding” before I started watching GoT.

It looks a lot like an Inhuman Inhibitor that was shown off in AoS S5, which was also employed by the Kree(albeit Future Kree!! SPOOKY!) So I’m going with power dampener/inhibitor as well.

Ah, I was only able to skim through it, but didn’t see the new specials.  What made me think L4D1 was the lack of melee recharging circles.
