you mean 3 systems? I mean, part 1 was on PS4 only at launch, part 2 is on PS5, part 3 is probably at least 3 years out...

S&S

Thing is, with so many loud complaints you see on the internet...like how people will refuse to support MTX or GAAS or my own age old bitter complaint about adding pvp into MMOs for example...the actual metrics developers and publishers collect tell the exact opposite story most of the time which is they they keep

It’s bizarre. Were it a AAA title I’d put it down to GAAS shenanigans or DRM to please the shareholders, but from an indie studio? What were they thinking?

Hey, me too! The time limit mechanic just made me feel intense anxiety and pressure to be doing the right thing, but I had no idea what the right thing was, so there was just a lot of scrambling and panicking.

The PS2 I think still managed to beat the Wii. It’s actually still managed to hold off against the Switch and only the DS has come within spitting distance of the PS2's lifetime sales numbers. That fucker was a BEAST

This is damn good work. hopefully we see more of this in other games.

It’s comforting that despite there no longer being any of the old guard left working at Kotaku, the fish lives on.

Hey, bashing people’s grammar is one of the healthier forms of internet comment.  No judgement here.

Shoutout to the episode at the very end of the Cell Saga where Trunks goes back to the future and absolutely slaps the Androids and First Form Cell to pieces. One of my favorites from when I was a kid, and still one of my favorites now.

As it stands, it’s not even a question of “if”, but a matter of “when” you die. So it’s basically only for content creators and people who already sunk thousands of hours into the game and still want more.

Yep, had freezes and the occasional double/triple spawn of every enemy while fighting those enemies.

I’ve unfortunately had at least a dozen freezes on Series X, as you said I pop up right back where I was but still, it happens more frequently then I’d like.

Usually, these people are already at infinite, and even if you lose a match, you get a tiny amount of Season Pass xp, so yeah...no downsides if you’re already at infinite to just perpetually climb Season Ranks for credits, boosters, gold, and tokens...even if each SP level gained is a tiny amount.

The entire appeal of Snap, to me, was being able to just have a quick game or two and then... go do other things.

I was gonna make a DoubleMint (gum) joke, but your extra is better than simply double.

Like double mint?

It may be only ‘near-mint’, but to be fair, it is the best minted ‘Tyler’ card out there. They don’t come any mintier than this one.

Not to worry - Valve will release a VR-only version that doesn’t play exactly the same games, but try to convince you it’s just as satisfying anyway.

Alyx beat the hell out of whatever 3 was going to be back in the day.
