I’m sure as hell not buying a console for 1 (3 games), and while I would love to play FF VII Remake trilogy, I’ll just give up waiting for an Xbox version and get it on PC when all three games are available.

FFIX’s plot is great, all the way until the final boss, and spoiler alert I guess, you wonder wtf is this? Still love the game though, despite the inferior, overly complicated Tetramaster wannabe. My other complaint, as was the case with FFVIII, the final disc locked you out of most towns, (explained in the story but

And the only reason FFXIV was successful is that they had an install base from FFXI players (that game still runs today) who wanted to play their updated MMO, so it was going to be very difficult to replicate those games’ successes. Even a franchise like Star Wars, done by a at the time beloved studio in Bioware had

I’d never heard of this, but now I am named Monologue Who The Fuck is Joy Division - Man.

It should not be this hard to know that the single player option of the game doesn’t need to be always online. This has been a complaint for over a decade.

They still have a big enough install base, and get to benefit from selling third party games on their own platform for a piece of the profit, and can keep the whole profit of selling first party games in their own store.

I for one can’t stand the PS leveled thumbsticks. Also, since I got the elite controller and started using the under buttons, I can’t ever go back to face buttons.

I admittedly have thought that some coverage (sometime on this very site) seems to be overly negative regarding Xbox, and also, the amount of shitty Sony fanboys I’ve seen online is just as bad. With that being said, and I’ll add that I haven’t owned a Sony console since the PS3, and only ever bought one game for it,

All I have to say is Tina Amini!!!!

Assuming all of these games make it to 2024, I will definitely be playing Avowed and Indiana Jones. IJ actually looks very impressive. I should also go back and finish the first Hellblade to play part II.

Specially considering Jedi Survivor is an EA game. I think the criticism on Diablo IV was mostly on the super slow progression during the launch and season one, but it was mostly addressed with season 2. It may not have gotten a ton of coverage here, but I saw a lot of activity on the game elsewhere, and I much

Also nice to see 6 of the top 12 games being single player, and that’s not counting Diablo which is to me, mostly a single player game.

I never played the original, but when Remnant II came on game pass, I saw enough buzz about it that I wanted to try it out. I’m really glad I did. I think that if I had some folks who I could regularly play it with, I would sink even more time, but getting through the campaign and then doing a few adventure mode

One of my thoughts this year is that I was going to buy more 4k Blue Rays now that I got a proper HDR TV, but I guess Best Buy won’t be the place that happens.

Starfield deserves to be on this list over half of these games.

Basically every game writer I’ve read or listened to on podcasts adore Outer Wilds, and I could just not get into it at all.

Have been waiting for RE2 remake to pop up on Game Pass and I’m glad it’s just about here.

I haven’t watched the maze runner movies and I’m not familiar with Wes Ball’s work, so maybe I will be pleasantly surprised, but I’m not sure that rejecting LOTR as inspiration is a great sign for me. There is so much potential out there with the different races in Hyrule, that a LOTR esque adventure doesn’t sound bad

I tell my wife to stop moving the headlight switch from Auto in our CX5 almost everyday. lol

I’ll continue to play more Starfield, but I also just got a Thurstmaster rig complete with chair, pedals, and stick shift, so a healthy dose of Forza is also in the books. I’ve done a few races so far and I can never play a racing game with a controller again.
