I loved FFXII, so this would be an instant purchase for me. I know many people didn't like it, but the game made me feel more in control of battles since it gave me the option to physically run away if needed. I find that the random encounter rate on other FF games are a little too high sometimes.

This is DLC for the first season and it bridges the gap between the stories of Season 1 and Season 2.

Technically it's not a sequel. It's an add-on and they don't consider it to be part 2 yet.

From what I've heard there is going to be a 2nd season along with new manga chapters. It's suppose to start in Spring but I have yet to hear anything else about it. Heres the article to the confirmations.
