Most likely do a little Destiny Iron Banner grind, although I’m level capped so no real motivation for it. Likely do a run or 2 of Hades, which has been the only thing I’ve touched on my Switch since getting it, much to the chagrin of my Animal Crossing villagers, who are now probably living in a weed jungle. I’ll try

You’ll be back... :)

Game changer right here. Time to retire my Series X, Switch, and gaming PC. Crappy work laptop, here I go!

Yeah, I definitely don’t think my projections are right. I do agree that in the long term, if MS can sustain subscriptions, then they’ll be able to increase prices a little without impacting sub numbers, and make game pass profitable, which it probably isn’t yet.

My comment says revenue isn’t profit. I don’t know how much, or if any MS is getting from funding games to be available on game pass, but the margin on game sales isn’t all that high either. They make better margin on digital sales, but physical also takes a cut out of the overall profit.

At the end of the day, I think both companies are making money, and following their own strategy. If we average out Game Pass subscription costs, and let’s say hypothetically they averaged to $12/mth (probably lower than that with promotions, lower tiers) each, then that’s a revenue of $216mil/mth. This of course is

Yeah, I still think that each raid has fun stuff, but they don’t all stand out. I didn’t stick around with D1 long enough for it to get to a point where people loved it, but I played Vault a bunch before giving up, so I am excited for that to come back.

You hit on a good point about it being linear though. Leviathan, holy crap, you could spend hours just exploring it. Now, DSC has some pretty cool looking areas, and going into space and all of that is pretty neat as well. I’d say it’s a better raid than GoS, and SotP, but it lacks in complexity and grandeur that Last

Doing that first area legitimately is harder than 3/4 of the encounters on that raid.

The only reason why raids are fun, and some of the best content, is because it requires the cooperation of more people. It would not be the same. You can still do the “mini raids” with three people like PoH, Shattered Throne and Prophecy, but removing the 6 person content would absolutely destroy the complexity and

It’s crazy that I’ve now been playing this game on and off for over a decade. I usually come back when an expansion comes out, play for about 6 months steadily, then due to lack of being able to commit to time for a static raid group, get too frustrated with PUGs that don’t go anywhere and slowly drift away.

These things were $60 and so worth it. I would love to have a similar one now.

Look forward to doing leap of faith from the top of ATATs into banks of snow.

The game definitely didn’t look optimized for next gen in terms of visuals when they showed it at the Series X event. Hopefully it’s a situation where they didn’t want to delay the game again, so they gave them ample opportunity to get it all sorted. Of course, most likely it just means folks are gonna be working

For me it started with Pilotwings on the SNES, but was further solidified in Ace Combat. Tbh, I’m not sure when I started inverting on shooters. I don’t think I did it in Goldeneye, but I certainly did it with Halo. By that point I know also that every game that had camera control I would swap to inverted as well.

When this came out on Wii U, I finished the story in one glorious day of non stop gaming. I felt like I didn’t even get to enjoy the game because it went by so quickly, but I thought, oh well, I finished it. Now you’re telling me that there’s additional content, and that means once I am done with playing Hades over

La Hee, too bad I have ebola...

Yeah, after I rewatched the video and not on my phone and paid attention I saw the fine print. It also said it would be a timed exclusive so at least it will get there at some point. Just frustrating. I have no intention of getting a PS5, but FF is my favorite series. I’m already waiting around for FFVII remake.

Last time a game preview blew me away was Anthem, and we all know how that turned out to be. FFXVI looks exactly like what you’d expect the team behind FFXIV to create, but honestly, I wish they would go back to some sort of turn based system mixed in with free movement. Hell, they’ve already perfected it in FFXII, no
