Well, I never said that the melee combat felt like it had particular weight. My comment was specifically about dragon fights which I find to be a lot of fun. I have played the game for over 100 hours and used mostly melee.

Exactly, and unless you are running some sort of over powered 5th generation vampire, you are very likely to get owned without a gun in most combat situations.
