Last year, I was able to purchase a bunch of just released games for 30 bucks by shopping on black Friday. Probably what I will be doing this year.

When the 1st Mass Effect game came out, Bioware wasn't owned by EA and the game was published by Microsoft, therefore it was an exclusive title. ME2 was essentially a timed exclusive because EA acquired Bioware while ME2 was being made and they ported it to PS3 a year later.

The game gets way better later on too, specially once you have all of your party members.
