Can anyone clarify the benefit of this? If I’m on the same Wifi network why wouldn’t I just go play on the actual PC?

Would it be a cutting if he was growing as a stem? I always saw it more as a seed/spore growth. Though I guess a green onion still sprouts a stem if you reuse the root.... Regardless I’m enjoying that the masses can be publicly debating the parentage of a comic book character and it not be weird. We live in…

Well first of all I never said games like that are MORE profitable, just that they exist and can be successful- so go ahead and jot that down.
Same here, and I hate how people pretend that it simply isn’t impossible on Mobile. Um... look at Implosion: Never Lose Hope or Crashlands, both non-ports designed with mobile in mind. Full, premium games with a ton of content that didn’t need to rely on microtransactions or gimmicks.
This is the answer to the entire thread. People need to start doing this for sketchy FTP cash grabs so it’s finally not profitable for devs and they stop this entirely.
Your assumptions here are all nonsensical. People are not upset that a game is trying to charge them money or make money. People pay for stuff all the time.
Fire Emblem is definitely better than this. You can play for a long while without hitting any sort of paywall or even competitive limitations. While in the later parts of the game not paying into it, you definitely feel handicapped but on the other hand you’re definitely not locked out. My problem was with the overall…
I find it funny you think the two are mutually exclusive. You do know it’s possible to have exactly what you described on mobile as well right? It’s not like this impossible thing so the only option left is for developers to do microtransactions.
a new mobile game based on the popular fantasy books, can be fun
Can you tell me where in Yummsh’s comment they said Cosby shouldn’t have representation or due process? All they did was call the lawyers slimy, which considered they were calling rape victims greedy sluts - is an accurate description.
“How, then, are they supposed to represent their client?... Were they supposed to hold back, and be guilty of malpractice? Were they supposed to be nice to their client’s accusers while in the middle of a very specifically adversial system that we’ve essentially been using since the Romans? Let me know if you ever…
No one is saying he shouldn’t have representation, but go on and keep arguing that against whatever fictional opponent you’ve created for yourself in your head.
“person x said it therefore it must be right” - I don’t even think this is a problem as the creator of the video says it is. In my experience people just don’t operate like that. More than half the video essays I watch I disagree with. I don’t watch it and think: “Oh, there’s a video essay saying this so I guess…
Joss Whedon is quickly turning into that grumpy, creepy uncle that everyone stays away from. This is coming from a guy that used to idolize him- Now I can’t stand the sight of him. Don’t meet your heroes, kids.
It’s honestly one of the best things to come out of youtube, and as a video editor by trade his video on editing is a godsend. I honestly can’t think of a single thing to fault that channel for (except ending, I guess)
Eh? I don’t think anyone is trying to pretend these video essays are fact. Most of them come right out and say they’re opinion.
I’m honestly just glad that Agents of SHIELD still exists. By all rights it shouldn’t even be here but by a strange loophole in time/space we still have it Fitz-Simmons on a weekly basis. Also the MCU has all but forgotten about Hydra, so it’s nice too bring the fight to our eight legged enemies somewhere.
One day, he hopes.
