Fire Emblem is definitely better than this. You can play for a long while without hitting any sort of paywall or even competitive limitations. While in the later parts of the game not paying into it, you definitely feel handicapped but on the other hand you’re definitely not locked out. My problem was with the overall

I find it funny you think the two are mutually exclusive. You do know it’s possible to have exactly what you described on mobile as well right? It’s not like this impossible thing so the only option left is for developers to do microtransactions.

a new mobile game based on the popular fantasy books, can be fun

Can you tell me where in Yummsh’s comment they said Cosby shouldn’t have representation or due process? All they did was call the lawyers slimy, which considered they were calling rape victims greedy sluts - is an accurate description.

The point of what I said will be waiting for you over here until you’re ready.

“How, then, are they supposed to represent their client?... Were they supposed to hold back, and be guilty of malpractice? Were they supposed to be nice to their client’s accusers while in the middle of a very specifically adversial system that we’ve essentially been using since the Romans? Let me know if you ever

No one is saying he shouldn’t have representation, but go on and keep arguing that against whatever fictional opponent you’ve created for yourself in your head.

“person x said it therefore it must be right” - I don’t even think this is a problem as the creator of the video says it is. In my experience people just don’t operate like that. More than half the video essays I watch I disagree with. I don’t watch it and think: “Oh, there’s a video essay saying this so I guess

Joss Whedon is quickly turning into that grumpy, creepy uncle that everyone stays away from. This is coming from a guy that used to idolize him- Now I can’t stand the sight of him. Don’t meet your heroes, kids.

It’s honestly one of the best things to come out of youtube, and as a video editor by trade his video on editing is a godsend. I honestly can’t think of a single thing to fault that channel for (except ending, I guess)

Eh? I don’t think anyone is trying to pretend these video essays are fact. Most of them come right out and say they’re opinion.

I’m honestly just glad that Agents of SHIELD still exists. By all rights it shouldn’t even be here but by a strange loophole in time/space we still have it Fitz-Simmons on a weekly basis. Also the MCU has all but forgotten about Hydra, so it’s nice too bring the fight to our eight legged enemies somewhere.

One day, he hopes.

  • Fellowship of the Ring: I love this movie because of the sheer scope of it. It goes from the peaceful Shire to the dreadful depths of Moria. It makes you laugh, cry, and hold onto the edge of your seat. I’d argue no other film in history captures the complete gamut of emotion as Fellowship does. A masterpiece in every

There’s plenty out there with depth that isn’t $60. Your argument is invalid. XCOM, San Andreas, Minecraft, Banner Saga, Implosion, KOTOR, Crashlands all come in around or under $10. Even the weightiest Square Enix games don’t exceed $30. The fact that you think $60 is a price point for good mobile games shows you

I have to disagree here entirely. For $10 you can get games like XCOM, Banner Saga, Implosion: Never Lose Hope, San Andreas, KOTOR, Shadowrun, Minecraft, Crashlands, or any number of other games with loads more depth, content than Super Mario Run... and are all way more fun as well. Hell, Fallout Shelter has way more

I agree that some people have encouraged Nintendo to go down this route- but IMO they didn’t have a choice. Nintendo never really offered any kind of “premium” experience that we could have validated in the first place. The only example was Super Mario Run which lacked the depth of a real game but still demanded $10.

The problem with Mario Run wasn’t it’s pay model- it’s that it simply wasn’t fun or interesting or had any depth. It failed because it was a shitty game, not because people didn’t want to support the pay model.

I love that they’re shaking things up. Fitz has always been my favourite character and I like that we’re being reminded how broken he is. This season was getting a bit stale since coming back from the halfway point but all that’s changed now. I found Hale entirely uninteresting, until the latest revelation. Ruby is

Favorite: Spider-Man: Homecoming. I’m just a Spider-Man guy and this was the first film that actually felt like my idea of who Peter Parker is. I found it also grounded the MCU in a way that hadn’t been done before. The setting, characters and conflict are all really focussed and it tells a much smaller story than
