Don't you dare touch my steering wheel. I will deliberately crash into something on your side of the car, I get that frustrated. Either that, or I'll backhand your face. In fact, just don't mess with me while I'm driving. It's the one thing I put all my focus into, and if you throw off my state of mind, there will be

Disrespecting my car.

COTD!

I have Asperger's Syndrome, so planes, trains, and cars have always been an interest of mine. I got started on cars through racing games like GT3, where I learned the joys of being in control of your car at the limit and lapping the track faster than your friends. You can't tell me this isn't a happy car. Just look at that grin!

This is less a joke and more of a personal edict that I live by:

I'm going to amend this and just say "Having bumper stickers on your car".

An OG Mini. No. Really. Underpowered (but not really, not for what it is), tiny, totally recoverable, provides loads of room in your own lane, plus it gives you a sense of just how big cars are, and how you really shouldn't take your attention away from the task at hand, lest something 2-4 times larger and more

The Lada, obviously. Every other Russian has one, and they are usually in terrible shape. So the don't really care what happens to it!

Suzuka.

Maintain a performance state of mind.

1. You may actually be creating the blind spot on your car. Set your mirrors properly, and you should be able to see the lane next to you, and have a seamless transition between your rear-view, and side view mirror, (car model and size allowing) A lot of the cars out there do not need to have a blind spot.

For the love of everything, I can't tell you how many times I've thought I was dead because of this. I drive where ever I go now, and my friends know this.

One thing every [American] driver needs to know? That they're operating an incredibly large and heavy projectile at high rates of speed, with only 4 small pieces of rubber keeping the whole package going in the right direction.

I am a fan of this one.
