Thanks for sending me that link. That clarifies everything.

That's too bad. Thanks for the heads up. I know she'll do fine in a normal slalom (my day job is as a driving instructor, so I get plenty of opportunity to put her through her paces), but I'm sure there are bigger weight shift in an autocross course. I guess I'll just have to keep looking for a cheap CRX or Scirocco.

Guys. Guys. This is what autonomous racing, if it ever becomes a thing, needs to be. Let teams build cars with no restrictions and unleash their creations on a tour of famous circuits. It would be the ultimate time attack series.
I would watch this in real life.

A quick question for those who run autocross regularly: do you think a 2001 Toyota Sienna would pass tech? I heard there was a restriction based on track width versus height, but I've been unable to confirm it. Regardless, I know from a spin I had on tarmac (I was trying a Scandi flick to impress a girl) that my van

Somebody better mention Keep Drifting Fun. I thought drifting was cool for ages, but wasn't actively interested until I saw this.

I'm sorry, Raph, but you may have ruined Baja Bugs for me. Every time I consider buying myself one I remember that you rolled yours in a fit of spirited driving, and it terrifies me. I know, not really relevant. Just thought you should know.

I'm definitely one of those who tries to take the racing line through every corner, and you're right, it's ridiculous. I never considered what the people next to me must think, I just hoped they didn't clip me.

"Pornographically documented" was a wise choice of words. I've never been so entranced by a 60 second video in my life.

You know it's Christmas when there's so few comments. I guess nobody's working today.

Flappy paddle CVT's.

That was inevitable, wasn't it?

This is depressing. Most of the millenials I know are just looking for the cheapest heap that will get them through college. If Ford wants us to buy, there are three things we need: something inexpensive, something fun to drive, and something that won't explode halfway up the canyon. We all know tech is expensive, so

My first lady, Sarra, of course. 2001 Toyota Sienna. She would be great with kids, modest, but can have fun in a moment's notice. Yeah, yeah, I know. But she taught me eIverything I know about driving, has never let me down, and even held up to track abuse. There may be sexier and more exciting women, but I'm thinking

All these terrible and terribly unprepared drivers are making me depressed. I think I'm going to go watch reruns of Rally Sweden to cheer me up. Anyone want to join me?

The insurance company will tell you that when driving conditions weren't ideal, that's the time you should stop flooring it.

I'm glad I scrolled far enough down to see this; I was about to post the same.
