The is more indicative of the quality of the blade rather than cane swords in general. This blades can be good quality if properly made, and made from good quality material. Look at the rapier. It has a really thin blade (so thin in can bend 40 degrees) but when made right they’re very durable.

(might fuck their eyes up pretty bad... but really... who cares at that point)

Can I recommend a sword inside the cane?

I really don’t like the feeling of rolling downhill in neutral.

Depending on where you live, e.g. pretty much all of Canada, coasting downhill in neutral is illegal. Just an FYI.

For example, if I’m about to run out of gas

Another point is depending on where you live, e.g. pretty much all of Canada, coasting downhill in neutral is illegal.

In Canada, corporations can issue fines but they’re not legally enforceable. If you don’t want to pay it, you don’t have to. The only consequence is if you’re on their private property you can be towed or asked to leave.

I don’t know about where Howie lives, but the city where I live in Canada, a fine issued by a company (i.e. not government) doesn’t legally have to be paid. They would have the right to prevent you from entering their private property but they have no ability to enforce citations.

Many powerful leaders thought they were untouchable... until they weren’t.

Where I live and where my parents live fence height is covered under city ordinance.

Constantly worrying about your property value is only worthwhile if you think you could sell at any moment. When I buy a home, I plan to own it for several decades and as such, how much it’s worth from year to year won’t matter to me. After 20 years, a house is ALWAYS worth more than what you paid for it just due to

So you need to have an HOA to create rules that city council should enact, i.e. fence height?

Got it, all you care about is money and how much your purchases are worth.

Right, I’m a moron because I plan to buy a house and live in it for several decades and as such don’t particularly care about its fluctuations in value. Fuck off you twat.

If they were all like that people wouldn’t have issues with them.

I’m not in that good a financial position nor do I own my own home. My point is, if all you care about is how much your house is worth you’ve missed the entire point of owning a home.

The problem with that view is you’re seeing your house only as an investment, not a place where you live and grow a family. To you, a house is an item on a balance sheet, not a home.

How about I blame both?

Muffin. Who cares what other people do with their property? If all you care about is the value of your house you’re missing the point.
