Well, then those people are idiots who have totally missed what a house is supposed to be.

Personally, I don’t see why it’s anybody else’s business if I have a shed in my back yard or not. It’s my fucking house, I should be able to do with it as I please (withing the confines of the law). I’m of the attitude of if you want to start telling me what I can and can’t do with my house you can start paying my…
Great, they’re “democratic.” Why are they needed? Can’t city council do everything they do, but better?
I would rather live in a neighbourhood with a pink house, and some other bright colours, than one where every house is the same boring shade of beige.
Is how much your property is worth all you people care about?
Ugly is in the eye of the beholder. I, for one, would love to see a neighbourhood with houses of bright, varied colours than a neighbourhood where every house looks exactly the same.
You don’t need HOAs when you have a competent city council that creates sensible bylaws and enforces them. Where I live, the city has noise bylaws to stop people making a huge ruckus at 2am. An HOA trying to govern that is pointless.
That being said covenants exist for a reason: Property Value Protection
People like that should have their nose introduced to a fist or two.
Or, and heaven forbid, the democratically elected city council enact and enforce bylaws. I’d rather a democratic entity like city council deal with stuff like this instead of the little Hitlers than run HOAs.
Blech. That’s a long drive. Must be a really nice car to warrant all that.
Jack Carter GM? Do you live in Calgary?
Several years ago a friend and me went to one of those last chance, your credit is really shitty, dealerships. My friend ended up buying a 2 year old Sonata, paying 30% interest (he was really stupid on that. I tried talking him out of it several times) but got $3,500 trade-in on his 1985 Mustang that was all rusted…
I’m lucky that when I buy my next vehicle I’ll be in a position to tell them what price I want and if they don’t like it I’m leaving. I really don’t need a new vehicle as mine’s only 7 years old and really low mileage but want to trade up to something larger when I can afford it.
But just because the FDA does not allow supplements and foods to be sold as cures doesn’t mean they don’t work. I drink apple cider vinegar every morning to cure my digestive issues.
If someone is suffering from depression, they can take vitamin D supplements
There were cars in the 1880's??
There’s exceptions to every rule.
Honestly, it’s ridiculous that questions like that even need to be asked anymore. I would have figured it globally accepted that women aren’t chattel.
Perhaps that’s more an indication that your cousin is a bad driver than all women are bad drivers.
