Personally, I hate minimalism. It think it’s the stupidest design concept ever conceived. Make something a beautiful work of art while giving me all the information I need. Don’t scale down for no reason.

I view this as Toyota being cheap as they don’t want to design separate dashboards for left side and right side driving countries.

I would imagine that something released from orbit wouldn’t be used for tactical strikes. I imagine a scenario more along the lines of Country A is at war with Country B and wants to inflict maximum devastation across the board. The projectile hitting anywhere in Country B would accomplish that goal.
