The issue is that her firing was represented by the media as being due to being the target of online harassment. That her being harassed was putting undue attention on her role at Nintendo did not like so they fired her.

Honestly my main take from your earlier reply was that you sound depressed. Maybe I did a crappy job of it, but I wanted to get across that things, whilst they could be a lot better, are not as bad as you make them out to be.

I`m not an “ally”, I`m just me. To be sure it`s not the best response in the world, I was torn between ABG`s very real concerns, and those which are somewhat exaggerated and it was kind of hard to address them. If you feel it`s bullshit, fair enough-I am probably too negative there as you say.
