Is that the smt3/dds press turn system? Yes! It was so much better than Persona's and Strange Journey's version. The smt3 one greatly rewarded and punished elemental affinity.

Nah, Mario is fine. Its not like how Disney's mascot has only been seen in a forgotten children's show and Kingdom Hearts in recent years.

As others have said. If $100 is too much, then how did you afford developing a quality game?

Tell me, Where in Square's logic tells them to make this $20 and Final Fantasy Dimensions $30 ($40 with the alternate soundtrack)? Something other than "It's Final Fantasy!"

Good, this should cut down all of the troll/clone/stolen games that flood Greenlight. Maybe $100 is a bit steep, but it does its job as a filter.

I have always had a problem with "morality systems" as they always seem to fall into 3 basic categories. The "Asskisser hero/Asshole hero" whew you either bend over backwards for everyone you meet, or are a jerkass that still has the same "hero's goal." The "Messiah/hellspawn" where you are ether that great savior of

Thats mostly because of the mac's static specs. For optimizing and scaling purposes it may as well be a console.

While I am disappointed with the lack of new games this generation, I disagree with your opinion on non Disgaea games. Phantom brave had an awesome item fusing system, nothing like using Dimension Slash with a box. Soul Nomad had a fun Ogre Battle-esque battle system, it also had the best "alternate route" of any game

As a whole for game trailers, yes I'm sick of "Tell not show" trailers that tell me nothing meaningful about the game. Judging by NIS's track record they should release a flashy gameplay trailer highlighting the quirks of the game relatively soon.

You do realize La Pucelle came out before Disgaea right? Nippon Ichi has always hung around the same general area for their games, and I dont see a problem with that when they make good games.

No actually, its much worse. Everybody gets very paranoid. We suspect each other over any odd behavior, it frequently ends up as figuring out who is bluffing. You cant have that with strangers, as you dont know how they act.

Its a freinds only server. Probably the best way to play games like that.

Luckily my server doesn't have that problem.

Seems like a regular game of Trouble in Terrorist Town in Gmod.

I am aware that it is indeed a great Final Fantasy game. However being an MMO really hold the game back. If there was a single player remake id totally be down with it, but due to the implications of being an MMO (timesinking, grinding, subscription fees) I just have no motivation to play it. I have tried twice in the

Agreed, I really don't like putting MMOs in the main series because one way or another MMOs are temporary games. If I wanted to do a marathon of the series fifteen years later I could play every game in some shape or form... except FF XI and FFXIV because their servers would be down or be near unplayable due to the

I keep saying that the core elements of Runescape are incredible. Quests play like adventure games, not counters for collecting bear asses or interacting with sparkling props. The skill system give you a lot to do, and a lot to do with it. Its world is very open to explore, not as linear as other mmos, even if there

Maybe Nippon Ichi has just spoiled me with its simple and clear graphical style but this game looks ugly. The sprites are of those squashed out miniature CG renders, and the environment looks crowded. However I can live with the art style if the game actually plays well.

Do we really need another hotbar masher? Hotbar combat is the boring, lazy and "safe" way out of making an MMO's core gameplay. What really confuses me is the way the combat was described made it sound like ESO could easly be an action MMO, they'd only have to make minor changes to the already existing Elder Scrolls

Same here. (in the mind of Gabe: "Crap there is nothing good about this product, but i cant just badmouth it so.....")
