Korra might be the Avatar, but I'm not sure she or any Avatar prior could see the entire damn world from one place through the roots of the massive spirit tree and the tremors of the earth. Toph HAS to come back in for at least one final badass moment. She's too damn powerful (and awesome) to just leave sidelined.
