I did say it was one of the year's best SF films, yeah... I think over the following month it kind of settled a bit and became a movie I liked a lot but didn't love as much as the films on the "best" list. If we'd had 11 "best" movies, it would have been on there though.

The Japanese title is "メビウス" which I assume is from "メビウスの帯" or in English "Mobius strip." Why they went with "Mevius" instead of "Mobius?" I'm guessing they thought it looked cooler.
