What you call "mature" I call "lowering our expectations". We absolutely should continue unmanned exploration, but manned space flight is important and meaningful, too.
Civ came in 1991 for PCs running DOS, a 16 bit OS. I think the word size was 2 bytes, so that would have been the size of an int.
When one starts with a falsehood, one can "prove" anything. That's just what the Ken Hams of the world do: they start with their prejudices and fondest wishes, and then they construct a narrative from those parts of the Bible that will support them.
OK, I'll just call up Stephen Moffat on speed dial and get those answers for you!
The skies of Gallifrey are orange. The skies where The Moment were used are at best ambiguous, but they look rather blue to me.
Has it been established that the barn in that scene was on Gallifrey? I believe it was the same barn where The Doctor used The Moment, and it did not seem to be on Gallifrey.
I don't suppose that anyone is interested in the mundane answer that it was not spying on *anything* and was just a long term trial of a space plane?
EDIT: I mean, anyone *other* than Brian Weeden. Oh, nevermind.
What a horrible mess. While it's understandable that there are certain risks involved when using experimental drugs, this case clearly warrants special consideration. Considering that front-line workers will (likely) be the first to receive the vaccine, it's safe to assume they'd welcome it .
This post feels somewhat subversive....
Quantum Mechanics. Not only was it an exciting time in physics, but much of the work on formulating the theory as we know it today was done in the 1920s. (So, maybe I just want to visit the '20s).
CBS, the network that cancels Numb3rs but gives us Intelligence and Scorpion. Well, at least they haven't cancelled Person of Interest which sorta-kinda tries to get the CS and math right.
Can't we just agree that all these people are over-payed, super-fortunate, hosers?
The Russian fear of "containment" is not unfounded — just look at US foreign policy in the late 90s and early 00s — but Mr. Putin is turning that fear into a self-fulfilling prophesy.
A Star fort has the advantage of beening hard to brake
Evidently, if you're an Ohio republican, science really *is* just a collection of facts.

What color is the sky on your world? I'd love to visit it some time.
Yes. There are bad apples. Honest researchers even make mistakes.
That's why we have peer review, rigorous training and certification for medical professionals, and independent testing and regulation through state health boards and the FDA.
Just because one doctor cheated does not mean than many do.
To add to TRT-X's point, unvaccinated people increase the risk of contracting a communicable disease for all people. Unvaccinated people increase the rate of infection and thus increase the chance that a vaccinated person will encounter the disease. Since vaccines are not absolutely effective, unvaccinated people…
I get the distrust of corporations, but I don't get the distrust of medical doctors. It's one thing to say, "I don't trust Pfizer", but it's a different thing to say, "I don't trust my pediatrician's judgment." I'm on the left, too. I expect pharmaceuticals to cheat on their taxes and obstruct the sale of cheaper…
