We’re not talking “most of the time”. We’re talking 99% of the time. As in, out of every 100 accusations, 99 are actual rapss.

Upon getting uncuffed, I punched her dad in the face as hard as I could and broke his jaw (that actually got me in trouble).

People have come up with lots of examples of how Halo was a “trailblazer”, but nobody has really mentioned the vehicles yet. I don’t know of any FPS before Halo that had sandbox-type levels where you could so flawlessly climb into, and drive, vehicles. In Halo, the transition from on-foot to in-vehicle is excellent

So do you mean that the Xbox One can only store Xbox 360 game saves on the cloud, i.e. it has no concept of storing them locally on the Xbox One’s hard drive? If so, that sucks a bit, I hope they can fix that in the future.

How the fuck was anybody stupid enough to get involved with this thing in any way? I’m not even kidding, and I’m sorry if this offends people, but I sincerely don’t understand why anybody thought this thing would not be a dismal failure.

Thanks for the clarification. I suspected that might be the joke, but like RVNR I wasn’t really sure.

I don’t get this. I don’t understand the joke. I understand that it’s supposed to be “ha ha modern big budget games are unoriginal”, but that’s not much of a joke on its own.

I just posted a similar comment on the article about Doom 3’s source code. My God I hate trying to compile other people’s code. Header file problems. Library linking problems. Preprocessor definitions missing. Yuck.

I haven’t used C or C++ since university, and I miss using them. I work almost 100% in C#, and I think it’s exceptional, but I do wish I had more time for C (C++ not so much).

Can they drive yet?

I completely disagree; there’s nothing clever or in any way “good” about an ambiguous ending. Unless the game does actually provide the information, even if it’s very hard to find, to resolve the ending with absolute certainty, it’s just a cop-out.

I think you meant record

I have been doing the exact same thing, although my 360 isn’t sold it’s just in storage due to lack of space. I’ve missed a bunch of the free games, but nothing of particular interest, and the backwards compatibility announcement is great because I might actually play some of the free games now. Otherwise I was

Having discussions about race with White Social Justice Warriors (TM) can be frightening. The fact that so many highly educated, liberal, and well-meaning people have so little understanding of the actual experience of race and racism terrifies me.

I don’t want an apology, and I’m not going to apologise to you either. I didn’t fail to read all the way through, I read your entire comment, replied to it, then continued down the page replying more as most people do. As I’m sure you’re aware, you can’t delete your posts here after seeing that (not surprisingly) a

Would have been fine if he would have said these things happen more in the US than anywhere else. To say it doesn’t happen at all is provincial, insensitive, and factually wrong.

I’m sure the dead appreciate the difference.

Damn it, these comments are playing up on my phone. Replied to the wrong comment sorry.

Ah good. I never finished more than a couple of hours of Mass Effect 2, so I was hoping I’d be able to continue where I left off. I just hope I synced my saves to Xbox Live, but I doubt I did. Might have to get the 360 out of its box anyway.

Hmm, Cortana’s voice is only just recognisable. It’s good that the speech recognition seems to be good but I didn’t realise her synthesised voice was still as muffled as Microsoft Sam’s.
