That's a pretty excellent point. I hadn't thought about it like that before, but that's a good way to look at it.

But we didn't know what the product does. That's what everyone wanted to know. They gave vague answers that didn't inspire confidence in people (confidence that the policies were going to benefit the customer).
I don't know if he covered it after this video, but he seems to be missing the point like a lot of people do. Opinions on whether or not the always online, DRM, and Kinect policies are acceptable are one thing. Maybe you don't think there was anything wrong with Microsoft's original policies for the Xbox One at all.
I agree, but mainly because of the way they just taped a laptop to the UAV. In a wooden box as well. How wastefully heavy, and trivial to do. But they redeemed it by explaining at the end that they're not done with that stuff.
I'm glad they explained that they are getting rid of the laptop at the end. Otherwise it's a really wasteful and amateur way of doing things.
This is interesting if true, can you back this up with anything?
The US is such a messed up country. It's disgusting how this was allowed to happen.
Our university's student magazine recently had a piece with a sarcastic remark about shooting up the campus. A small number of people complained, but from my point of view the general consensus was that they were in the minority and considered idiots.
I disagree almost completely. Making him do community service or talk to schools about being careful what you say online implies that what's happening to him is in some way justified (excessive yes, but still justified). It implies that he has done something wrong. For him to be punished in any way by the justice…
I don't think you or I know enough about those other cases to be certain that those events would have been stopped if they had been investigated earlier (or if it is even fair to say that there was reason to investigate all of those cases at an earlier stage).
What he did was illegal. It wasn't protected by free speech. Should he do jail time, no he shouldn't, but you can't make threats even if you say lol Just kidding. What if he did make good on it, are the police supposed to say "He said he was kidding so we ignored it."
I thought that the quote was going to be from some poser band or something, but I didn't realise that was from Holy Wars (don't really listen to Megadeth but have a few of their albums).
What I wish for ignorant people like you is that you get a taste of your own medicine. I hope that one day somebody decides to make an example out of you for something you've said - I'm sure you'll be happy to get the same thoughtless dismissal that you're giving this guy.
Had we kept Atta in custody for as long as legally possible, maybe 9/11 never happened. Maybe if we had noticed Ander Brevik's craziness the Denmark island shootings never happened.
He should be fined though Investigating the threat cost money that could have been spent preventing real crime, but it's law enforcement's job to investigate any serious threat.
Wait, you mean it stays on even if you're not using the controller - when the controller is "off"? That sounds weird and I don't think that's what they mean.
What an asshole. Fuck him if he dies, but he's endangering the drivers and all of the other spectators around him. You wouldn't expect a driver to make a bad call that means they hit the other spectators, but with a dumbass like that popping up in the middle of the course anything could happen.
Seriously? How stupid are you?
He said that he would go and shoot some kids at a kindergarden and eat their hearts. And he said it to a compleat stranger. And he never said he was joking.
The things you are saying are such crap.
