Both sides of this are sad. On the one hand you have people watching other people play games. You're not sharing a console and taking turns, or watching a particularly interesting clip, you're just watching a mundane, run-of-the-mill gaming session that somebody else is having.

Agreed. Racism is discriminating against someone because of their race. That is not what this is doing, and the only way to get rid of racism is to stop making rules like this which say that only some races can do certain things.

What trivialises it is when we have articles claiming things to be racist/sexist/whatever, when it's not even clear-cut if they actually are. If you add something to the list of discriminatory things, when it doesn't belong there, then you're only perpetuating discrimination.
