I've had the Modnations demo for about two weeks now thanks to an "exclusive" invite from PSN. I gotta say, parts of it really impressed me, of course being able to build your own track and racers, but then the rest of it was just Mario Kart Lite. Perhaps the full version of the game will expand on some of that

@Walking Eye!: As long as there's a dream sequence of hitting it with Dr. Melfi I'm good.

Super Street Fighter IV, Final Fantasy VII, Metroid Prime 2...I'm all over the board at the moment.

Do I see the "Mighty Foot?" Sweet!

Okay, fightstick question, I just picked up Super Steet Fighter IV, have SSF2THD and MvC2 on my PS3...is there an affordable, quality fightstick out there? I find a regular controller hard to swallow at $50, but this $150 to $200 business is mind-boggling, collectible limited edition or not!

@safsephiroth666: I'll agree with SotC, there were quite a few moments in that game, but when Argo plummeted to the river I about lost it.

@Interstella5555: Which is why I was glad it didn't go down the Christian path. Not that I don't see room for existing religions in games, Dante's Inferno for example, or the sci-fi'ed up Assassin's Creed. I think Kratos finally owning his misdeeds was very humanizing and taught a veiled message of self-worth and

I thought God of War III's gratuitous violence delivered the same sentiment. You had to perform the actions, but especially with Poseiden and Zeus, the intense angles and actions really made, well, ME at least, ponder the lengths I would be willing to go for vengence. Though in the afterlife once Kratos forgives

I don't know who's going to recall this, but before entering Clotho's layer in II, there were two paintings in the turnabout room just before you very first see her through the windows. One painting was of a war of gods, with only a sole survivor remaining (obviously inferring Kratos) the second was a familiar image

@erona: It my be just that, a closed-in syndrome, and anything emulates an open door (figuratively of course) is simply daunting. A straight-forward narrative offers a comfort in that even if the game is big in scope, I know I'm taking one way through it.

I've always wondered why I'll find myself scared of a game. Case in point: GTA series. I've never beaten a single one of them. I own I, III, VC, SA, IV, had the Gameboy Color iteration, and China Town Wars for DS. I plan on picking up the expansions for IV when I'm back in work (facing unemployment at the moment).

@Malthius: Playing Devil's advocate, perhaps it is because games have more of an interactive element to them. I don't agree with it, I've seen the studies like everyone else that says someone who plays GTA is not any more likely to go steal a car than someone who just watched Gone in 60 Seconds. I agree completely

@Maxamegalon2000: If that is indeed the case, where this is an independent and not a law-abiding process, then I suppose I see the point. But I would then consider making fine-requirements and actions based on the existing system, rather than spending a ton of resources on trying to create a state-specific rating

Perhaps I am a little out of the loop here. There is an existing rating system, and much like movies, tobacco, and alcohol it is up to the retailer to verify age before selling an age appropriate product correct? Why is this even being debated? Why not actually enforce the laws and system that already exist?

@Pojodin: World 1 would be like the opening of the X series, an introductory area with a non-power giving boss at the end. The opening up of the rest of the world would be "sandbox" in that you can go to any world to challenge any boss, and once said boss is defeated, his/her weapon could then be used to access new

I don't know if we need a new 3d iteration of Mega Man, but I always wished for a larger Mega Man...still eight bosses to get powers from, but mutliple stages and challenges before reaching that boss. I used to draw maps for a Mega Man a la Super Mario World. An inner-child can dream!

@WildWon: Yeah, there's a second one, Dark Chronicles or something, with Wesker on the cover. I haven't played it, it got mixed reviews.

@ToiletNinjas menaces with spikes of Koganusan Steel!: I have the first Chronicles and it is surprisingle pretty, great light effects. It's RE in short-hand, your major boss battles, etc. with just enough branching oppurtunities to take it "off rails" at times (puzzles and secret rooms and such).

I never picked up SFIV, and in the meantime, my gf's daughter has turned into a fighting game fan, so, I'm picking this up as a belated b-day gift the both of us can share. I'm pretty stoked, glad to see the "hated's" are pretty tame for my interests in the game as it's all couch-surfing for us!

@wirebrain: Probably just that. I've done it. I've got games that the only trophies I'm missing are the ones for online multiplayer. I'm just not real big on it.
