The movie is almost guaranteed to be for the kids of the people who grew up watching Chip and Dale plus other 90s stuff that pops up as references. You get the kids with a PG comedy and the parents with nostalgia in one go.

This is a PG Chip and Dale movie, it’s solidly in the animated kids range. The amount of adults complaining about spoilers for a Disney children’s movie is fucking depressing. 

I get the feeling that they’re all thinking if they just throw their own press release shows at other times they’ll be able to garner more attention than they would over the usual E3 weekend.
