No dude, it’s not a “people with kids” thing it’s an “asshole taking off the mask” thing. I have plenty of friends with kids who managed to remain good people and still call out bullshit when they see it, boiling it down to the kids is a hand-wavy way to dismiss criticism.

Chiming in to say this is almost exactly what happens in the animation industry as well, and there have definitely been months where I was living off savings because I was job searching for a place hiring for a project that was at a particular point where I would be able to slot in.

I feel like anyone who really wanted a PS4 would have probably gotten one over the last 8+ years? Is there a sudden explosion of demand at the end of it’s life cycle that they’re seeing to warrant this (besides just desperation for a console)?

I swear 90% of the time I fire up PS Plus to check out the new games at the beginning of the month the Price is Right failure music instantly plays in my head. I still do not understand the criteria they use to choose these games. 

I just tested positive today and hoo boy can I understand why it’d add delays now. I’m fully vaccinated and even my “mild” breakthrough case is no joke, I haven’t left my bed in 24hrs at this point.

Because the splitting of said playtime across 10 days to access everything is an entirely arbitrary decision. I could easily knock the entire thing out tomorrow before I leave for the holidays but I can’t because *reasons* and I’m willing to bet a lot of other people can’t as well because we’re all traveling…
