I thought Mecha was originally Japanese? Maybe I’m getting it confused with something else since there are way to many different naming conventions for robots.
Piloted vs Programmed is the general distinction, which is why I prefaced it with “technically” hah.
Technically they’re Mechs, not robots.
Next will be P, the precursor to Q.
I skipped getting a Xbox One so I missed that problem entirely but I haven’t had it happen to me personally until I picked up the Switch. Must have just gotten lucky over the years.
I was about to make this same comment, I don’t remember controller drift being a big problem before the Switch and now the PS5.
Can confirm that at least when it comes to animation if you use reference you’ve gotta send that shit up the chain so your leads and then the department heads and then the ADs can know what you’re basing stuff off of just in case it could cause some legal problems down the line. Always hated having to gather folders…
I got stupid lucky with my PS5 as well, was sitting on a BestBuy batch for pickup in Atlanta and managed to get one in my cart but the site kept crashing before I could check out and then my cart cleared itself, pretty much gave up and went back to work until about 20 mins later I had an authentication code email…
That teenager is gonna be in for a rude awakening when they head off to college. I really didn’t give two shits what my roommate did with his girlfriend but the amount of f*%ks they didn’t give about waking me up at 5am going at it still managed to piss me off.
Probably because it’d be a nightmare trying to recreate all the subtle trickery your mind plays on you while it’s meshing together the two different pictures it’s getting from each eye. They’d need to stick the camera way out in front of the head to begin with to mimic the way your brain erases your nose from view,…
And yet here I am, stuck with a copy of Fallout 76 because just downloading the game was a bridge to far.
This is a bad take, coming from someone who works in a parallel industry ( with many of the same production problems ) where my job is completely reliant year to year on viewer ratings and episode reviews. Awards like these do not effect the vast majority of the people who contribute to these things and most places…
Considering the US gov thought vaccine doses for 50 million people in a country of 331 million was enough, yeah, I’m expecting this shit to hang around.
At this point I’m waiting because A.) I don’t want to pay $1,500 dollars for a v1 of the PS5 and B.) there seems to be a problem with the console ramping up to the very edge of failure with it’s temps because of the way Sony laid out all the heatsinks. Don’t want to relive my PS3 experience of the thing literally…
I mean, yeah, that’s half of it for sure. They showed the other half of that when they do keep their memories with Uther throwing Arthas straight into the Maw without first being judged by the Arbiter in that cinematic. Doesn’t seem like a good idea if the guy/gal ferrying you to the afterlife can decide that “nah,…
If they bring that back they better throw SF3: Third Strike in there for good measure.
And then there’s me just sitting here wondering what happened to Deep Down.
