I do! Thunderbirds Are Go is pretty good.

He has in fact said he’d hold another referendum if elected. He reiterated it in a speech before Parliament yesterday.
(it’s an impossible dream, but imagine if Microsoft let, say, Obsidian collab with HBS on a new big budget Shadowrun RPG... with maybe some character cameos...)
One of the - many - things I really liked about Shadowrun: Dragonfall was the way it would sometimes specifically subvert the player’s attempts to do exactly this. There’s one character in particular who always seemed to be able to tell if you were saying the things you thought they wanted to hear, and doing so would…
And yet, shooters tend to sell better, and be more widely played, on console, because the controls are more than good enough for most people, and consoles are just what they have. Heck, these days a lot of people play shooters on their phones.
I mean, I very much see The Sims as a PC franchise too, but there’s definitely a lot of appeal to the idea of being able to play it on a portable system.
Derry Girls!
It’s Patrick/Waypoint, so the reporting is more than solid.
Uh, electrum is amber, and ambaric energy is just electricity, produced and stored in exactly the same ways as we do in our reality. The names are just flipped.
Yeah it’s kinda... Diesel-punk, I guess? They have electricity and stuff—though it’s called ambaric energy in Lyra’s world, and they don’t have 1990s-level computers, or planes or anything.
I hope they actually have the budget to build cool dune buggies this time.
Well this film is ruined for me now ‘cause that stunt is clearly impossible: lorry trailers have to have side-guards* in that gap** between the wheels*** in the UK.
Most of the time when I’m in a hurry I can just run up the escalator without dealing with a line, though? That’s always going to be faster than letting the thing carry me up at a slower speed. If I were spending ages waiting in line to get to the ‘fast’ side of the escalator I’d agree, but I’m just not.
ah yea, fair. the whole lightsaber -> crystal -> holocron system they’ve devised seems pretty well thought out when it comes to that sort of thing—have you seen any of the Savi’s Workshop videos on youtube? the show they put on is genuinely pretty impressive... even if i wish they’d put a tiny bit more thought into…
While true, it ignores the fact that people who aren’t in a hurry are usually happy to slow themselves down a little to let people rushing to trains or wherever by.
honestly, that’s pretty much what i expected them to do
I just want ‘em to put 5e’s Horizon Walker Ranger subclass in there so I can basically just play as Ciri.
I think I’ve come to realise that the way the lightsaber is presented - the context around it - is actually ultimately more important to me than how powerful it feels in combat.
Keanu’s character in Cyberpunk 2077 is a (literal) rockstar revolutionary named Johnny Silverhand, just for the record!
