I don’t think there’s anything around that price point that’ll get you a V8. But it’ll still be cross-shopped with both cheaper and more expensive coupés and sports saloons. Fuck, I reckon some people’ll even compare it with the super-hatches. Most people who have the money to buy a toy as expensive as the Mustang are

Eh, someone’ll import one for sure. Shame the wheel’ll still be on the left.

You’re probably right, sadly. I think the reason most people have gone for the V8 is that, well, if you’ve got the money for a gigantic sports-thingy with room for two full size people and maybe half a child, you’re probably not too fussed about fuel economy. Besides, I reckon a large part of the charm for a lot of

It isn’t, though, unless he’s talking about the GT specifically, and with some options.

Around £30,000, which is close to half what you’d be paying for an M3, as he says. I’m not sure how that lines up with US pricing—obviously, it’s going to cost more, but it’s all proportional to how much the competition costs. Does the Mustang go for roughly half the price of an M3 in the US?

He’s talking more about the exterior dimensions than the interior space. The Mustang is still quite a bit larger than most other cars you tend to see here in the UK—and much, much larger than its competition in the, ‘cheap RWD sports-thingy’ segment.

Personally, my hope is that the really rather fast version of this:

Yes, yes she - or he - is.

The majority of the orders they’ve gotten in the UK have been for the V8.

I’ll take this original Mini:

Red’s my favourite colour.

I started to feel that way after spending just one and a half years working customer service at a supermarket. Thankfully, I’ve managed to save up enough that I shouldn’t have to work through Uni if I don’t want to.

“perfect learner car for the family with a little bit of money who wants to unleash their kid in something fun to drive that’s nice, safe and comes with a warranty.”

It's about the same size as a Focus, and weighs less than a Fiesta.

They're filled with air, and intended to absorb the force of small impacts, like car doors and shopping trolleys.

I can’t say I agree that it’s overpriced. The base model is over a thousand pounds less than the base Focus, and looking at the website, I can't see anything you'd be missing out on by comparison.

Well, the air bumps probably wouldn’t be very good at their stated purpose if they cost a lot to replace.

Their called Air Bumps, and their stated purpose is to absorb small impacts - shopping trolleys, car doors and so on - to save the rest of the car.

It’s an option. One of the Cactus’ selling points is that you can customise it fairly extensively.

I've always been under the impression that it's to do with the airbump panels on the sides, front and back. Obviously, they don't spike people, but they do provide added protection against those who would do the Cactus harm.
