I was considering DMC4 HD, then looked at the trophy list and thought “no chance I’m platinuming that”! With the HD version out I’m afraid you’ll be waiting a long time for a trophy patch for the PS3 version.:(

Exactly, and there are filters that do a good job replicating the effect that CRTs had in blending/slightly blurring the pixel art to show the desired result that could be implemented in a port if they didn’t want the hard pixel look to be present.
