That’s almost literally my job (except our CEO/ owner is a really nice guy who would never be as much a jerk as Musk is rumored to be). When I started no one would tell him the truth and everyone said every idea is great. I’m the one that tells him, yeah here’s why that won’t work but here’s what we can do and how it

I’m betting a little from column “A” a little from column “B”. I mean everyone knows pre-production cars are scrapped or go to a museum. Someone saw a chance to make a buck and took it.

White House chief of staff!

Wear it to bone spurs trial! Sitting with Hilary hopefully right behind that orange Russian loving piece of shit. That would be karmic realignment.

I don’t know about the US ones but the Canadian ones flashed the speed at anything over 100 km/h (so all the damn time). drove me nuts when driving it.

Exactly, if it had the motor this thing would be on a boat to China right now to get that engine reverse engineered.

Where I live that’s a “normal” commuter car meanwhile I have several acres of land, a tractor, an old project car, constant building jobs and use a normal SUV with a trailer cause why the fuck to I need a lifted 4x4 pick-up (with a 6ft bed height) when a trailer when I need it is way easier to load and cheaper on

I’m not usually one to condone prison violence but I hope he gets the biggest, baddest blackest cell mate.

I hope you instantly stopped the car, walked around and opened her door and told her to get out, slammed the door and burned rubber away. Anything less is a disservice to your excellent choice of vehicle.

Ducati sourced Petrol is fine, I’d be more worried about a MAN sourced bunker fueled diesel with no emissions equipment!

Your ideas intrigue me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Firmly in the negative!

The only safety features a Jeep needs in europe is a wire cutter and a .50 cal

Manufacturers would absolutely love to own the dealerships and service your cars and technically the price of cars COULD drop because of it (currently you have the manufacturer making money from the dealer and the dealer making money from you, technically you could “lose” one level of margin) the issue is the laws

Those both rip off the consumer. Dealership reats are insane especially considering they underpay their mechanics hence the good ones leave hence the ones left often know nothing. I had to teach a BMW mechanic how to code a new module once after he wasted an hour not figuring it out.

Still hideous.

Fisker Karma (also a GM engine).

This, try to actually find a volt or bolt on a dealership lot. Try to find a sales guy that actually tries to sell it (most say its a girly car and try to sell you a 4X4 dually extended cab long box for your 10 mile commute). That’s one thing Tesla got right. Internal combustion dealers are not going to want to sell

I never worked on it but in late 2006 I was at an automation vendor checking out a new machine they were building for something I designed and they had two machines next to ours under construction. I wandered over and checked them out and the shop floor manager explained they were for building batteries for an

Man I was thinking the same thing. Sure cool as hell but really sounds like ass. I was actually wondering why so crappy compared to Hoonicorn and then realized, yeah V6 not V8.
