"making, I dunno, a new IP." They did. It's called Steel Diver. And look how well that game was received. Oh wait, no, a bunch of people instantly decided to hate it because it wasn't mario/zelda/kirby/etc/etc

actually, it's been selling better than the DS did at the same time in it's lifespan since it was released.
by the fact that he doesn't explain his reasons at all, I think he's probably trolling. Then again, people can be reeeeeeeeeeally stupid, so...
shut up shinji!
Don't forget Red Steel 2 :D
um... no, you could also use a wired connection. I'm honestly not seeing your point here. If people don't have wireless internet, and for some reason also have no way of connecting their wii to a wired connection, they need some way of doing it. Unless I've been misled, don't both the 360 and PS3 also require some…
what are you talking about? You can use the wii on the internet without needing any addons, as long as you have wireless that it's compatible with...
no, they had a block
it is, and no games actually require the thing currently, and I really doubt they ever will
no, I'm currently in college and have a ridiculous number of projects right now, so I only have time for 3 ~ 4 anime, which I've already started watching, and I have a hard time stopping an anime in the middle of it, unless I really don't like it :P
I gotta say, I usually love Production IG's shows (I still think that Eden of the East is one of the best shows in the past few years), but Guilty Crown just disappointed me when I tried watching the first couple episodes. Also, your welcome :D
It's not a "V" mask, it's a Guy Fawkes mask. And, to echo hazelnut, please no. XP
have you watched any of Un-go? So far, it's a pretty damn good show (then again, I'm a sucker for mystery stories). Also, Hunter X Hunter is a fun, if somewhat mindless, show too.
Hey now, there's some awesome, unique modern anime out there (go take a look at shiki, usagi drop, or fractale). I would agree, however, that the majority of modern anime is incredibly uninspired :P
the one problem here is that he judges cases of other parents who do exactly this to their children. He clearly doesn't believe himself in the wrong, so why would he consider other parents doing the same thing as doing something illegal?
she eventually left him due to being abused as well. My guess is that she was afraid that if she tried to stand up to him, he would have turned on her instead.
you seriously don't think that a judge couldn't just sweep this under the rug, forcing her to stay with him, and then just abuse her even MORE?
As I understand it, she did threaten to drop out... of college. Which her father was forcing her to go to at the age of 16 for his own social benefit. Yeah, I think I can understand why she would do something like that, if that is true
eh. As far as I can tell, her father was incredibly controlling of her, so it's very possible that he wouldn't let her buy that kind of thing, even with her own money. That's entirely speculation, mind you :P
I believe either the article or someone in the comments mentioned that the games weren't available in her region. Hence the illegal downloading. I'm not sure of that, mind you.
