not really, actually. As long as he's not making money off of it, I doubt Nintendo will care. Dunno about valve, though I'm betting that they won't care either

more than one remake and one port, but people really are blowing this out of proportion, especially since Nintendo only has control of the creation of 2 of the said ports...

The system is selling fine. It's certainly selling less than they and everyone else expected it too (quite drastically so), but it's still sold better than the DS did during the same amount of time :P

thanks for being a voice of reason. There are too few of those on the 'net -___-

wait seriously? -mind also blown-

fair enough. I just saw a LOT of comments from people saying stuff like "even if nintendo GAVE me a 3DS I wouldn't want it (trolololol)" XP

It's somewhere between the DSi and DSi XL (closer to the DSi though, I suppose). Either way, no matter the size, I doubt they're going to put out a 3DS XL (or at least not put it out for a good 4, maybe 5 years like they did with the DSi XL), mainly because they seem to be targeting the so-called "core" audience with

Honestly, the 3DS start isn't that slow - as I've been saying for a while, it's better than the DS's start was (both in terms of games and in terms of sales of the actual hardware), but besides that, fair enough :D

The only reason you've never seen me specifically complaining about this with other systems is because I wasn't on Kotaku back when the PS3 or 360 launched. Anyway, it does seem like Nintendo is getting a lot more hate than the other companies do, both from the commenters and from the articles themselves :P

thanks for getting what I'm saying :D

Not true - there's still Pilotwings (which I've heard is damn good), Steel Diver (again, I've heard it's good, but short), and Ghost Recon at the very least. I've also heard that Ridge Racer 3D was a good game. And, for people like me who don't own a PS3 or XBox 360 or who never bought a lot of PS2 games, there are

maybe it's just because I haven't had a chance to play a lot of the games that are being rereleased (I bought an N64 late, and didn't get a PS2 until the past couple years, and had no interest in games like Devil Survivor when it came out originally), but I think that remakes are a great way to start a system. I mean,

by aura of dead, do you mean that it seems like the system is dead in the water? Because I'd disagree with that. If you're saying that the releases are kinda slow, that's fair.

we'll be getting it sooner or later

yeah, I have no problem with people saying THAT. Like I said, I'm fine with people saying there are no games that interest them, it's the people that say that there are no games at all, in a way that's meant to make people that bought a 3DS feel bad about it that bug me

yeah. It's called "every day of the week." At least, when I have nothing to do during the summer, it is... when I'm back at school, it'll probably be "every day except mondays"

This "there are no games" view is bull. There are several retail games out already (remember, IT'S ONLY A FEW MONTHS AFTER RELEASE) that are worth buying (and yes, I realize that most of them are remakes), and that's not counting the several GB/GBC games that are available through the eShop. If you're not interested

why in the world would there be an XL size? It's already almost as big as the DSi XL...

That's cool. I might pick up the limited edition, if I have the money.

well, they're apparently going to start implementing a trade system across Steam (instead of just TF2 or Portal 2). For the moment, you can only trade giftable copies, but someday... who knows? Anyway, that's a rather extenuating circumstance, and I'm sure if you died, and your family could give proof to valve, they'd
