so this ISN'T being made by Cing. Ok, I was rather confused about that when I saw this announcement (because I remember them filing for bankruptcy after the original came out). Who's making this then?

Gut reaction: I really hate that 2D artwork. Or rather, I hate it in a Little King's Story game. It's supposed to look more... I dunno, childish? That was part of the charm of the original :\
What Xazi2003 said. OWB is a must buy if you own new vegas, and I honestly rather liked dead money. It wasn't perfect, but the fact that they decided to experiment with the formula a bit made me able to forgive them. On my first play through, I thought that honest hearts was kinda so-so, but on my second, I actually…
um... the whole point of the gold is to NOT take it. You know, a lesson about not being greedy and all? Anyway, I didn't see much point to it, yes it's gold, but seriously, there's no one in the wasteland that could give you enough caps to make it so that you're actually getting the value of the gold from selling it
but... but... veronica... she's stupidly overpowered. Like, at decently high levels, she can take out the legendary deathclaw in, like, 2 hits with something as simple as a power fist (not even one of the special ones you can find, either)
it took you four hours to get there? holy cow, you must have been taking your time O.o I'd suggest giving it another chance. Like Archaotic said, the game really is better than 3 in terms of story related stuff (and I'd even go as far as to say in terms of new weaponry and the like as well)
well, part of those "side quests" (as in, doing whatever the hell I wanted to) involved finding every possible location that wasn't related to the main story, so there was a lot of running around trying to find random safe houses and the like...
I'm a PC gamer, but I've never really used mods before (for any game, not just New Vegas)... I suppose I might give some a try...
kind of, but both of the groups are basically only found in one place (a little less so with the khans than the boomers, though) and that place is very remote anyway, so they don't really help when you get that group of "elite" rangers after you for being against the NCR... on the other hand, when legion assassin's…
on a slightly related note: Does anyone else find it really hard to play a character who's allied with Caesar? I keep trying, but it always bugs me just how little support you get (since the only companions who aren't anti-caesar are rex and ed-e and there are literally no legion outposts outside of cottonwood cove)…
just your first 30? I've spent over 70 hours with one of my characters, (completing all of the DLC and side quests and the like) and didn't go into New Vegas until I was at around 60 or so (because I had run out of side quests to do). I'm giving that character a break until Lonesome Road comes out and the level cap…
I gotta say, OWB had some of the best dialogue I've seen in games in a while XD
In old world blues. it gets mentioned a couple of times, I believe
dude, going 100 on unarmed is so much fun. I played a character that was focused on unarmed strikes, and went to dead money asap and got a bear trap fist. From that point forward it was "oh! Hey! A -fill in the blank with super strong enemy-?" -cross- -cross- -uppercut- -enemy's head flies off- :D
honestly, every time I've played through them, I've played Honest Hearts first, then Dead Money, then Old World Blues
Technically, no, after you complete the game you can't. But it currently makes a save just before you go through with the whole "point of no return" stuff, so you can start from there
just because it looks kiddy doesn't mean people are going to buy it. Remember, it actually has a teen rating, so I'm betting that's more what would have put the parents off of buying it for their kids
but their used price is exactly the same as the new price (or maybe $5 less)! So you wouldn't be getting a (much) better deal anyway :P
oh I agree, it wasn't nintendo's fault. But it sold horribly, and my guess is that they figured that part of the reason for that is the fact that there aren't as many people who are interested in those types of games who own Wiis as there are who own PS3s
ya know.... that would be pretty damn awesome, now that I think about it :D
