Stef, how do we get trick talk Porsche into making a modern 944?

The fact that Putin genuinely has nostalgia for the USSR shows how small of a man he is. When your “good ol’ days” were being a middling KGB agent for an incompetent regime you know you’re pathetic.
Turns out the campaign to kill all the animals in the irradiated countryside wasn’t done merely to prevent the spread of the contamination, but also as an attempt to find and kill the American spies Moose and Squirrel.
Slow your roll, Blackstock.
To be fair:
F1 only did something and brought the HALO out only after the accident with Jules Bianci happened. From what I’ve read so far, the HALO would not have protected Bianci in his situation. However it was something that caused it to take a look at safety as a whole. The one thing that Bianci’s death did bring…
Well when it comes to racing they most certainly were. As everyone has said Ferrari DOMINATED racing. From 1949 to 1965, Ferrari had 9 wins at LeMans, Jaguar had 5, in the history up to 1966 an American car maker had never even placed. Granted after 1965 Ferrari never won another LeMans. But Ford came out of…
We’re not talking about car sales though.
You’re right that Ford was massive, but you have to remember that Ferrari DOMINATED the racing world, both politically and on the track.
I think the “underdog” and “standing up to Ferrari” deal is that at the time it was unheard of for a mainstream american automaker to take on the likes of the sports car powerhouses in European racing. Ferrari may have been small but they had a reputation of fast racing and sports cars. At the same time the most…
Um...I do understand it is a tight pit-row, but they released Verstappen right into the side of Bottas...NOT ‘just in front of’ him. That is pretty much textbook ‘unsafe release’. And no, you don’t hold him until the whole field goes by, you wait a beat for Bottas to get a little further past and let him out in the…
Fucking eh. We get it, Max wins the popularity contest and everyone hates Lewis but jesus christ it’s like people are blind!
Verstappen should have been given a drive thru for the unsafe release. He compromised Bottas’ race and 5 seconds doesn’t even that.
Except by releasing our that they created an unsafe situation that easily could have gotten a crew member in the pit box hurt badly. There is an indicator on the far wall to help them all out, and as far as I’m concerned if they choose to pit in a safety car crowd it’s on them to make it work with a safe release.
And you are an idiot.
They run there because any one of the scenarios you just listed were dancing around on the head of a pin. Because Verstappen almost took Hamilton out, in addition to almost ruining the efforts of Bottas as well. Because Vetter could have won the race if he hadn’t had cooling problems.
Um, the Dow hasn’t hit a new high in almost a year and a half, presidential elections ALWAYS make the market tepid, and we’ve got the China trade war looming. This isn’t about profits, it’s about planning for the next 2-3 years in a down market.
I wonder who will be whining and crying louder?
