I was convinced that falling in the hole was part of Rebecca’s evil plan, like she was going to say Josh pushed her or something.

Oh no, that just made an already sad moment even sadder. He’s still waiting for her, even after reading about her arson.

I cried like 4 times during that. I just feel for Rebecca, man. I know what she’s doing is wrong and it physically hurt me to watch her say those things to her friends in the opening scene, but I just want things to get better for her.

I appreciate the choice they made when Rebecca almost fell into the hole. Josh pulled her back but it wasn’t a typical rom-com ‘moment’ where their eyes met. It was more Josh being sick of Rebecca’s over-dramatic bullshit and just stop it already.

If Tom Cruise’s romantic leads can consistently be in their 20s, then let’s not make simple gay male sexuality predatory because there is an age gap. At least CXG has acknowledged there is an age gap, unlike every Hollywood movie ever.

I always thought that was the whole point. Like, she’s totally obsessed with him, while the audience is sitting there going “but why?”.

I HATE Josh Chan (though he is an excellent depiction of every basic-ass nice-but-also-terrible dude from not-quite Los Angeles.)

I am extraordinarily upset that he’s not continuing his series, but Bagels After Midnight has a bunch of really awesome, thoughtful video essays about the show. Highly recommended.

Ugh I miss Greg so much. “It was a Sh*tshow” made me laugh/sob because it so perfectly described a former relationship.

I don’t think rewarding someone for their bratty behavior is priming them to change that behavior.

My daughter is 14 and she isn’t perfect by any means. She has never disrepected me the way this girl disrepected her mom. She wouldn’t disrepect her sister like that. Or her father. Or another adult.

I think they should prime her to turn it all around
