To be fair this time around you should be able to play all upcoming PS4 games that matter on the PS5. If TLOU2 lines up with the PS5 launch (and works on there, which I assume), I know where I’m playing that game. I wouldn’t mind better performance, possible faster loads, and some hot HDR for the PS4 games I was going

The high price referred to here is probably the production price. Sony and probably also Microsoft are going to be taking losses the first year or two to be able to sell the consoles at what’s considered a reasonable price point. Probably $499 if history is any indication of what’s “reasonable”.

I was reading a review of Mrs. America that made the point that while liberals are content to control the culture conservatives are busy amassing political power. Basically, we can pat ourselves on the back all we want that two men kissing on TV is fairly normalized—meanwhile, the ERA never got passed. Government

The game wants to do something different, even as a cadre of fans want it to be the same thing they’ve always loved.

The entire English voice casting from the main characters to the NPCs have been excellent. I also enjoy her gaming videos but damn, she needs to sit down and finish God of War already.

The only reason I would say Square messed up here is because they didn’t broadcast that to the fans. If Square had come out the gate saying “we are completely remaking FFVII from the visuals to the storyline”, it would’ve been more fair to folks that hoping people would be begging for that sweet nostalgia drip only to

HR doesn’t exist to protect you from the company, it exists to protect the company from you. To them you are a liability or an enemy.

I love XII, but one thing that always bothered me about it is it feels like only part of a story.  For me, it’s like being introduced to Game Of Thrones right in the middle of the third book.  They do a great job of explaining the characters, but I KNOW there’s more story before, and after what we’re witnessing, and

I love when remakes have new takes on things. New settings, new ideas, new canons, a few familiar beats—I’m all for it. I also know it’s possible that a remake can generally capture the feel of the original even when it does some new stuff (like RE2 did—it even recaptured the kinda convoluted, samey A/B scenario

English voices sounds fine. Anime tends to ham it up like cartoons and it’s our native language so it’d sound less natural to us when we watch it, but it’s basically the same. Japan voice-acting also has this weird habit of accentuating every grunt and making every character feel the need to either grunt or gasp when

I look forward to ray tracing in like 1-2 more gpu generations. At this stage a 20 series card reminds me of when you could buy a Phys-X card to take advantage of Phys-X.. but then it was incorporated into future gpus. Making that a weird transition era.

Java version already has this functionality its always had this ability via modding community.

Took me an embarrassingly long time to get.

Polish man crashes car into cemetery, police have found 300 dead and are still looking.

Drunk driver crashes into roundabout. Hundreds lay dead around burning wreckage.

This is true of practically every new cutting edge tech though. It's expensive for a while and eventually it becomes common and affordable.

Yes, Grampa. I’m sure SJWs are stealing your medication. Don’t worry, I’ll chase them away before they can hurt you.

Use respects wisely. *respects*

it’s true.  you can geek out over how much better VI was all you want but it was VII that broke the franchise mainstream.

He’s doing a barrel roll in a better place.
