Everything he’s ever accused anyone else of doing is something he’s done himself, or wanted to do himself. And I don’t mean that as hyperbole - I mean people investigating Trump should be going back through his twitter feed, speeches and interviews gathering pointers.

Reminds me of the golden age of The Walking Dead, when every article about TWD was a litany of reasons why TWD sucks, and yet they kept writing about it. Probably for the same reason Destiny 2 is so popular on Kotaku - no matter how much shit Bungie shovels people keep consuming it. I mean, people will whine, cry and

An unspeakable loss. He will never be forgotten.

Yo Heather, I’m really happy for you, Imma let you finish, but Prey 2 had one of the best videos of all time - of all time!

Anachronism is definitely a thing in the world of the Witcher. People talk with a kind of mix of old-timey-speak and modern vernacular, including phrases that folks in a medieval world would be unlikely to come up with. Witchers are not revenants or wraiths, they’remutants’, a word connoting a specific concept that

That just means the game makes for a good (many-years-later-style) sequel to the show.

Not sure really? I assumed it was feature length and he was the sole director.

Well done. ⭐

I’m not disagreeing with you in principle - I just think that with U.S. gaming revenue forecast to reach $230 billion by 2022, the industry is now past the point where ‘hurdles to mainstream success’ need to be a major concern. There’s over a hundred million PS4s out there already. Sony has won. They can afford to add

Well, you didn’t change my mind :-) but also, is it just me or is this comment in the wrong comments section?

At this rate he might be done in about 7 years - which isn’t too bad really. I’m just glad to see he’s found something to entertain himself with in his retirement.

Tetsuya Nomura is a bad writer who will never stop being given huge franchises to run into the ground.

I actually have something important to add that will change entirely how you feel about my comment... I won’t say it here though, it’ll be mentioned in one of my later comments 😛

I appreciate how you waited until the last sentence of the article to mention it’s a Kickstarter and will theoretically release in a year. Thanks, Luke. Thluke.

If they include paddles by default in the PS5 controllers they won’t be used to remap existing buttons - they would be new available inputs for games and games would just use them as needed and teach casual players how to use them in the tutorial, same as all the other buttons.

First thing I thought - but then the second thing I thought was that it doesn’t sound like a very Sony thing to do. I wouldn’t assume they’d make their controllers forward compatible until I have some real evidence for it. But if so... yeah, this could be the thing.

This actually gives me hope they really might have these built-in for DS5 - adding two buttons to the basic controller is less of a gamble and less scary for users than adding four buttons, whereas four can be kept as an option for ‘pro gamers’. Though of course if you think about it a little bit it’s not hard to fill

I’d like that a lot, but I don’t want to get my hopes up...

This. In retrospect I can’t understand who thought adding buttons to sticks was a better idea than just putting two paddles on the back of the controller.

It’s certainly a praiseworthy endeavor, but it’s also impossible. It’s not like the NES where you had a definitive list of published titles small enough to fit in a single book (less than a thousand!), plus a handful of unlicensed carts - it’s DOS. Every kid with a PC in his bedroom had their little QBASIC game they
