Biden and a lot of other Democrats don’t think they need EARN my vote or campaign support in order to win in November. Maybe they’re right but they’re not getting it without offering something that infuriates the oligarchy like Medicare for All or a Wealth Tax or a Green New Deal. 

I oonly watched about half of the first episode. I heard the copaganda critique from some friends who had watched more of it and thought it tracked with what little I'd seen but never resumed watching the show. Might give it another shot now though

I think you're being naive to give this corporate-funded politician the benefit of the doubt. Police are the only social service that doesn't get cut because they protect the rich from the rest of us. There was anti- corporate challenger who ran against Whitmer though...maybe he'll run again next time.

You could donate to his challenger, Jamal Bowman. He's one of those "Justice Democrats" so he doesn't take corporate funding as a rule.

Maybe buy some guns. Cops weren’t tear gassing the re-open protestors. They also backed off from aggressive tactics against DAPL when vets with ARs showed up. Armed civilians won’t win a gunfight with the cops but probably will discourage them from behaving in ways that might start one

It’s probably because they’re well positioned to do this kind of work or at least some collection of influential people believe they are.

Why stop at voting? Groups like Southern Worker's Assembly and DSA are doing shit to fuck with Republicans, white supremacists and killer cops all year round without having to wait for an election...
