Fun fact: the N64 was the first console to implement anti aliasing- only with the tech at the time and standard res, all it did was muddle and fuzz the textures as they drew farther away. As always, first party games used it wisely while a ton of third party ones couldn’t master it. But, sometimes it was refreshing in

Dude, I’m with you. Broken syntax. Incomplete and incomprehensible sentences. Comma is nonexistent. Brain hurts, and is pissed off now. Language mastery is important. Let ‘em know!

Seriously- how is it a selfie if the machine is taking it? Is any picture of humans a selfie now? Is photography that daft and useless now?

I never stated that anybody was forced to change a male character to female or straight to gay- I’m just replying to the conversation at large which seems to take place so often in video game forums such as kotaku.

Can we finally separate “gamers” from “online gamers”? I have been playing games (largely on Nintendo systems) since the advent of games in general, and still do so- and do not suffer the same phychological dilemma as, say, a teen who cut his teeth on games designed around killing, cursing, base sexuality and verbally

In retrospect, it's truly a shame that the last Smash he was in introduced air dodging, but resulted in making you a sitting duck afterward.

True, but he's peppy and responsive now. The only thing slow is his floaty jump, which can be advantageous once we all get used to it again.

All of my shinies. I haven't evolved any yet except for Milotic. Electrike was my first, and was a horde Pokemon from Y, believe it or not- I've been playing multiple color versions of every gen, and it took me that long to ever even see a shiny.

It is quite sad. Realistically, any stock of any item could go that fast with a little speculation and demand. I remember in 1997 when FFVII came out, EB stocked the Japanese figures. There were less Red XIII figures in all boxes than the other characters. I went three weeks in a row to no avail, and finally begged

Indeed they are. As much as it seems like it's on purpose, I think it's more likely Nintendo's passive approach to marketing and communication that make it seem that way. After all, companies like Good Smile try to limit the numbers of their figures, but they scarcely sell out and are going down in price. Also, most

I dunno. I'm still blaming scalpers. Have we all looked at eBay and Amazon yet?

You're in the wrong biz, padre. MH3U was my first MH (had the 2nd one for PSP, but couldn't really handle the camera control), and I clicked about 600 hours playing fairly casually since its release. I mashed most of the multiplayer missions myself- even all of the initial G Rank ones- and kept going just to keep

Right now, I've given up on everything except for 3DS.

In a genre where the inside of 99.7 of the buildings are inaccessible.

Still too pretty in the face and her boobs don't look floppy enough under that plate. SCRAP IT. Or just create the game the way you designed it- I really don't care.

A lot of people don't subscribe to Miyamoto's philosophies anymore- it's why we basically have a rift between gameplay and graphics to begin with.

Ha ha- it took me half a mission to realize I could do that. I didn't wanna drop that damn egg by pressing the button!

Legos are also depressingly expensive- especially a'la carte. Perler beads are cheaper, and you don't mind their permanence. Here's just a few I've made. I urge anybody to try them. It takes a bit of patience, but they're cheap and work quite well.

Looking at the headline photo, I'm completely honest in saying that I prefer Mario 2 to most AAA console games of today. No false Hollywood BS. Pick it up and play. No nonsense. Just enough character variety to keep it interesting.

Unless a game is about nothing save for climbing, then it should be brief and uneventful. Too many games take animation detail into frustrating account at the cost of satisfying gameplay. MH4 is better than the rest because climbing is fast and effortless compared to prior games. IN Mega Man 3 and later, ladders are
